No cooking, raw dinner idea

Today was a day of #detox! Raise your hand if you may have snuck one to many chocolates on Easter!?! I sure did, I over indulged in comfort food, the food that warms the soul but sticks to the hips! Is that considered balance if you have one major cheat day?

#Craved all the #freshness today but we were starting to run low on fresh fruits and veg. I had to restock and came home with a beautiful food haul of #color. They say to shop the outer aisles of the market which include the produce and frozen section at most stores. That is where the less processed items can be found. So, that’s literally what I did which also prevented me from mindless #shopping, buying unnecessary items.

I came straight home to unload and prep my haul. I knew I didn’t want a #meal for dinner, I wanted something more on the lighter side. I started slicing cucumber and it hit me.... avo toast on cucumber instead of bread. #BOOM, there ya go. I mashed fresh avocado, smeared a nice helping onto a slice of cucumber and topped it with my all time favorite crunchy chilli and onion oil from #traderjoes, there’s no way my meal would be complete without spice. Now this is my type of meal folks!
