The way to my heart is food! So.... on Mother’s Day, just feed me! I genuinely enjoy the company food brings, the act of giving and gathering, creating a dish for a loved one made with good intentions! Food brings happiness and joy, so what better time to to bring joy to the Mommas than to bake a warm, cozy dairy free/gluten free Apple Berry Crisp!

You won’t feel guilty giving Mom this dish because it’s made with healthy alternatives than your usual Apple Crisp, zero butter and zero refined sugars! This dish is also a great way to use up those not so crisp apples and berries hanging around.
You’ll only need a few ingredients for this recipe:
3 large apples, peeled and sliced
2 cups of berries, any type will do. I used black berries and strawberries
1 tbsp coconut oil melted
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp all spice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp Splenda or sweetener of choice
TOPPING:
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp all spice
1 1/2 cup old fashion oats
1/3 cup pecans chopped
2 tbsp coconut oil melted
2 tbsp honey
Preheat oven 350, pour apples and Berry mixture into a dish with 3 tbsp of water. Layer topping evenly on top, Light drizzle of honey to top it off. Baked cover with foil for 30 mins, after 30 mins remove foil and continue to bake for another 20 mins.
Enjoy and stay oddleeme!
